Live Smart Texas is a consortium of researchers, prevention advocates and government employees concerned with improving the lives of Texans of all ages, but with a focus on children. I have the privilege on serving on the Live Smart Texas steering committee and representing TALHO. If you have not gone to the Live Smart Texas web-site at

please do. There is a list of 6 different questionnaires, each designed to collect information about childhood obesity, nutrition and physical activities programs and activities in Texas. There is also a link to register your organization with Live Smart Texas to receive directly information and activities of the consortium, including funding opportunities. I hope that you and your organization will benefit from information from the Live Smart Texas web-site.
