Through a grant from the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), the Texas Association of Local Health Officials (TALHO) is able to provide the coordination and support to Texas local health departments to complete the National Public Health Performance Standards Program (NPHPSP) Local Instrument, Version 2 Assessment. With a team of partners, including support from CDC, NACCHO, and DSHS, TALHO encourages each local health department to complete this valuable tool.
This site is dedicated to providing specific information to Texas local health departments regarding the NPHPSP Local Instrument, Version 2 assessment. Please visit often for current updates and information posted regularly!
The NPHPSP is a collaborative effort to enhance the Nation’s public health systems. For more information about the NPHPSP in its entirety visit http://www.cdc.gov/od/ocphp/nphpsp/index.htm
The deadline for submitting the completed assessment is APRIL 30, 2008.
